SUMMARY:Non-adaptive group testing for COVID-19: a practical perspective
DESCRIPTION:In mid-March 2020\, with the onset of the first lockdown in Isr
 ael\, we started to implement a non-adaptive group testing method for dete
 cting SARS-CoV-2 carriers. Starting from validation experiments and clinic
 al screening\, followed by an approval by the Israeli Ministry of Health a
 nd operational work in Israeli virology labs. We describe this project tha
 t combines theory application and a myriad of practical issues encountered
