We are proud and moved to share that Yedioth Ahronoth featured “HEROES” – a special beer developed in the course “Laboratory in Bioprocess and Biological Materials Engineering,” commonly known as our “Pilot Brewing Course,” led by Prof. Uri Lesmes.
As part of the course, the student team – Ido Peleg, Or Peretz, Stav Azulay, Linoy Nahum, Sharon Simhi, Yehonadav Haim, and Yonatan Lesmes – brewed an English IPA and dedicated it to the memory of five soldiers – family members and close friends of the group – who fell in combat in the Gaza border region and the Gaza Strip. Their names and photographs appear on the bottle label.
