We are pleased to share that this week Prof. Ayelet Fishman, Prof. Yoav Livney, and Assoc. Prof. Maya Davidovich-Pinhas participated in the international Gordon Research Conference in Los Angeles, California, on the topic of “Food of the Future: Scientific and Engineering Approaches.”
The conference brings together researchers, engineers, and thought leaders interested in advancing the frontiers of research in future food solutions and fostering productive collaborations. This year, the conference focused on alternative proteins and various production methods, including precision fermentation, cultivated meat, and plant-based proteins.
Our faculty members presented their work through lectures and posters and engaged in discussions with colleagues on sustainability, consumer preferences, emerging technologies, and academia–industry interfaces.
