Ceremony celebrating the recipients of the 2026 Carasso Excellence Scholarships

We were honored to host this week’s ceremony celebrating the recipients of the 2026 Carasso Excellence Scholarships, awarded in recognition of outstanding research at the intersection of foodtech, biotechnology, health, and sustainability.

The scholarships are awarded to graduate students in our Faculty and support impactful interdisciplinary research addressing some of the most important challenges in food, health, and sustainability.
The scholarship program was established through the generous support of the Carasso family and the “Beyachad Foundation”, reflecting their ongoing commitment to advancing these fields. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Yoel Carasso, Mrs. Yoni Goldstein, Mrs. Atar Razy-Oren, CEO of “Beyachad” – the Carasso Family Foundation, and Mrs. Liat Perlman, CEO of the Technion Friends Association, together with the Dean of the Faculty, faculty members, and this year’s scholarship recipients:

🏆 Hanfeng CAI , PhD candidate from the laboratory of Prof. Ayelet Fishman
🏆 Gabriela Amiram, MSc student from the laboratory of Prof. Uri Lesmes.
