Technology against Corona: Gold medal for Technion students in international competition.
The Technion student team won a gold medal in the International Synthetic Biology Competition – iGEM. Development: An active gel that captures SARS-CoV-2 viruses and prevents them from entering body cells. The Technion said that unlike existing disinfectants, it works for hours and does not harm the bacterial population on the skin.
