Congratulations to Yifat Cohen, PhD student from Prof. Yoav Livney lab, who was selected for one of the outstanding doctoral degrees in Europe as part of the joint workshop of the European Federation of Food Science and Technology (EFFoST) and the European food industry.
This year’s competition was held in Munich and invited candidates from all over Europe. Yifat represented the faculty and the Technion with great respect and presented her research on the use of casein shakers for the controlled release of vitamin D. The conference was also attended by Prof. Emeritus Zeki Berk who continues to be active and inspiring.
