The Technion team won a gold medal at the International iGEM Competition for Synthetic Biology in the US. This is the fourth time that a Technion team has won a gold medal in this competition. The international competition is designed to encourage the development of products based on the creation of new biological systems and their activation in living cells This year, Technion students developed preventive treatment for allergy and autoimmune diseases.
