World Food day 2019

The Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Engineering hosted the annual World Food day conference: Linking FoodTech Nutrition & Health

Prof. Machluf the dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology and food engineering stated that the biggest challenge we confront is zero hunger in the world – to be able to provide every human being the right for nutritious and healthy food.

The conference was organized by Asst. Prof. Avi Shpigelman and  Asst. Prof. Maya Davidovich-Pinhas from the faculty of Biotechnology and food engineering.

Dr. Erel Margalit, Founder & Chairman of JVP saif that the Foodtech is the Next Big Thing In Israeli Hi-Tech.

Keynote speaker Dr. Didier Dupont from the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA) talked about the connection between food consumption and the human digestive system.
